The New Testament Church of God is available for weddings to Church Members and their immediate families, and to Friends of the Church: those who have or have had an ongoing connection with the church and their immediate families. It is also available to residents of Strood and the adjoining towns. Depending on the availability of the church, those who are not eligible on the above basis may request to be married in our sanctuary.

You are required to attend 3 pre-marital counselling sessions if you wish to use our church for your wedding. Please contact the minister on 01634 718558 or email the Church Secretary to arrange this.

In order that the proceedings of the wedding is not disrupted. We ask that video photographers remain in one place throughout the service, and that this is agreed prior to the beginning of the service with the Minister taking the wedding.

Photographers should also co-ordinate their activities with the Minister taking the wedding and should keep in mind the dignity of the proceedings.

In particular the completion and signing of the register is an important legal procedure and photographers are asked to refrain from taking photographs during this. There will be plenty of time to pose for photographs of the register signing after the legal part has been completed.

Around three weeks before your wedding both parties should arrange to see the Minister to discuss the final details of the service and to arrange for a rehearsal if this is desired.
